5251 Aluminum tread checkered plate sheet
The 5251 Alternative It has become common practice in Australia and New Zealand for Alloy 5251 to be offered as an alternative to 5052. The two alloys are very similar in composition and properties and in many cases they are functionally interchangeable. They are however different alloys and a piece of metal that complies with one cannot also comply with the other. Some users can only accept one alloy or the other. Purchasers of these alloys must decide whether alternatives are acceptable.
Indestructible and resilient despite low weight
5251 Aluminum tread checkered plates sheets are very resilient against aggressive substances and therefore, they regarded as indestructible. Due to their durability, they are used in many different areas because they do not lose their shape or look, even after a long time. Whether industrial floors, airplanes, ships and vehicles, or stairs indoors or outdoors -5251 aluminium checker plates are a popular material which is appreciated for its excellent properties, the high resilience and the low weight. Even designers use these plates due to their decorative look.
Attractive pattern ensures slip resistance
During production, the pattern is applied to the plate by forming rolls which are pressed onto the plate with a large force. In doing so, the bottom of the plate remains plain. It is not possible to emboss the aluminium plate subsequently.
Due to the diagonally finned structure, the plate becomes slip-resistant which is why it is also suitable for use outdoors and in wet areas. In addition to the finned structure, there are many other shapes and patterns which provide the same characteristics.
Depending on the type of plate, 1 to 5 bars are arranged next to each other, forming a checked pattern. It is differentiated between 1 bar(diamond), 2 bar, 3-bar and 5-bar patterns.

Application
A. 5251 Aluminum tread checkered plate sheet has good skid resistance. So it is usually used in the loading ramps, trench covers, dock flooring, stair treads and even for the car, truck, ambulance and fire truck.
B. It has the decorative function, so it can be used as decoration wall panels, cabinet and ceilings.
C. Because of the anti- corrosion, it can be used in the chemical industry, or in the decoration of the ship and port facilities.
